Mosaic compositions are becoming more and more popular throughout the house, but their use in kitchens seems to be limited. When it comes to tile, it’s about texture and dimension. Hands-on science experiments in the classroom are giving way to canned videos that students watch. Doing science, it seems, is increasingly becoming something that's best left "to the professionals." How will today's students become professional scientists if schools are no longer offering real science? It's a disturbing trend.
